MOTOR STARTS.........Then shakes like hell! Then dies please help ASAP! 92 hatch with
I was going to pick up some parts in the bay and though I degrease the motor. So I sprayed the whole engine bay with degreaser and let it sit for 5 mins than washed it all down.... waited 1 hr and started it. Start up fine with a good idel than drove down a block and wouldnt rev over 3k rpms without dieing. Drove home on secound gear. Now car starts but the whole motor starts to shake like hell, thans shuts off on its own. the idel is way off.
before degreasing the motor I cover the dis cap, intake,
I also change the ground wires to engine...... the two that connects to the valve cover/head.
forgot to cover a tube coming out of the vap canister? water got in somehow?
could that be a weak ground causing for it to shake and die?
Or just wait couple more hrs for everything to dry? But I degreased other cars before and never had to wait this long nor did any of them have this problem when starting.
ANY IDEAS WOULD HELP ME !
Thanks for your time.

Shaking like hell sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders. Dry drying all your leads. Maybe use some dielectric grease on there. Or just leave the hood up, put a fan on there, and let the sucker dry for a while. Those are the only ideas I have.
Cheers.
