Hey Guys,

My buddy is thinking of swapping a B20Z (99 CRV) engine into his 99 EK hatch, as off right now he has a d16y7 engine. He is wondering if he can use his stock motor mounts for the swap. Or does he have to use aftermarket motor mounts? And how much he is looking to spend for the aftermarket mounts and what are some good aftermarket mounts out there? Thanks in advance guys.

y will need 2 mounts, the mount that goes on the <U>motor</U> driverside, and the "L" shapped bracket, both from a 99-00 si dohc.

so basically just these 2 mounts then? anything else i need 2 change? thanks.

This is just my 2 cents.. if hes doing the swap.. more than likely he wont be leaving it stock.. spend the money and just get some "full polyurathene" mounts.. expensive but worth the money.. my friend has them in his da9.. just my 2 cents

is the car an auto or stick if its a stick he will need any b series shift linkage, or if he convers from auto to stick he will need the mount they make for it also he will need b series axles

thanks for the reply. the car is 5 spd and my friend is more into the after market mounts he's just curious on how much his looking into spending plus how many mounts exactly are there to be change? sry for the noob question

just get all three mounts passenger side drivers and rear one in back of motor

anyone have any idea how much those motor mounts cost and any specific brand?
