hey guys... was up ok i have a problem ive been looking on all the furoms and no luck hope you guys can help me...
ok i got a 97 ek hatch im putting a 94 gsr on it ive bought a new set motor mount from innovated ive used the 99 si rear t bracket 99 si tranny bracket 99 si timing belt bracket but when u put the motor on it seats lower on the driver side and has a lot of tension on the mounts like it doesnt line up... but i seen other swaps on ek they used the stock mounts and they look even... so my question is does innovated have a problem with this swap that make them sit tilted or did i do something wrong help me out give me you solutions.... thanks in advance alex

if you know the stock mounts work why are you spending the extra money on mounts? your mounts from the original engine will work with the rear 99 si mount.

cuz i wanted to up grade...
anyone had this problem and knows how fix it

On some cars you need to swap the drivers side mount off the old engine. The one connected to the block its self, the one the mount is bolted to. I'd be willing to bet thats the issue.

ok fix the problem what happen like i suspected from the biginig the guy that game me the bracket on the timing belt he took it off a 99 si block ok the guy that gave him the 99 si b16 motor he swap the the bracket from a b20 motor so he thought it was a 99 si bracket un till i compared it to my friends 99 si civic so who figured waste of time

im also dropping a gsr motor into my ek3 hatch

i have innovative ek billet mounts
ek4 rear engine T bracket
ek9 timing belt bracket

do i need ek b-series tranny bracket
or can i use my stock ek d-series tranny bracket
since its hydro?
