Default more help diagnosing alternator problem.

Okie, i'm back again.
heres what happens,
the voltage I see at my battery is crazy, and my lights(headlight, dash, etc)
pulsate brighter/darker.

at the battery it bounces around from 14.5 to 15.7 at idle,
BUT when I rev it up, it bounces around all the way up to 20volts!!!!

i'm on my second alternator, the last one stopped giving out any volts(now that i see how high the volts go, i'm assuming it burned itself out).

Anyone have any insight on this?
Heres my setup
92 cx hatch, jdm d15b vtec motor, JRSC(96+ kit converted to 92-95).
belt is on there good and tight, I cant find any blown fuses,
grounds look good and tight.
Everything worked perfectly before the JRSC kit went in a couple weeks ago,
and I just can't seem to get the alt. to work right sicne then.

I'm going to be calling JR tech support tomorrow but i figured i'd just post up again to see if I can fish for any more input.

thanks.
