Misfire
My EG hatchback with B18c motor is misfiring on cylinder 2. I had it compression tested at a shop and it was all good. The 2nd cylinder had a black spark plug when I opened it up.
Could this be the injector? Can bad injectors cause a knocking noise? (my car sounds like its knocking in the lower end)
