minime swap
i have i 95 civc cx i wanna do a mini me swap and i have a d16y8 motor out of a 96 ex will this all work or will i need any other things

just put the y8 in there....dont worry about wiring up vtec or swapping heads. just pull out and stick in...plug up (maybe a little more complicated if its obd-2 you will have to get conversion harnesses or do some wiring yourselrf) and there you go. not alot to change from d15 to d16. no changing mounts or anything. boost that y8 and be happy!

i was going to but the bottom end is messed up and i dont have the money to build it so that was all i could afford right now

What do you want from your car? What are your goals?
I would recommend saving your money until you can answer these questions and have a plan laid out. I also recommend that a mini-me is not part of this plan.

yeah then just do the mini me for now....then build the y8 back to health and put the y8 head back on it and then swap it. good luck!!
