Just wondering if any one has done a mini me with the d16y7 block

I'm planning to soon Hopefully, but then again people are saying they've got some quite spectacular y7s with the y7 head, maybe I should just leave it on there and just swap IMs? lol I dunno

what will u need to do an IM swap? i know u need the manifold, but will the throttle cable and everything else work? ill just turn my cold air into a shortram then!!!

No your going to have to use the throttle cable off and 96-00 ex .

i think you would get a better result with the z6 being better flowing and vtec and all

Thats not true. I used the same throttle cable and flipped the trottle lever thingy upside down.

I did the swap a few months ago. Its running great but I still need to figure out a way to run vtec. I think I'm going to use an rpm switch temporarly. I'm also using the Y8s manifold. If you want to see a few pics let me know. I'll post them up for yah.

I did the same thing , by fliping it, u have to mount the tb cable hook on top of the fuel rail, but it works. this was talked about yesterday, search.
