Default Mini-me tranny Q

Okay before I start out on my mini-me swap I had to fix my tranny. There's a thread in the a/c section with pics and what happened to it.

So I head to the scrap yard and pull a replacement auto tranny. The car it came out of was wrecked on both ends, had like 87xxx miles on it. Problem is it was one of those krylon black paintjobs over top white paint, no badges on the car and no soor plate stickers. The motor was a d16y7 non vtec. Shift points are a night and day difference between my old busted M24 auto (92 Sol Si) and this A24 mystery model tranny.

The main Q is, If I swapped shift Solenoids off the old trans will it change the shift points on this A24?
The car will go to ~ 6200 RPM and shift (on WOT) to ~4K- 4300ish RPM

are you saying it shifts at a higher rpm at WOT or what??? or are you saying once it shifts the rpms drop to a differant rpm than your old tranny??? neither will be changed by the soleniods though.

Sayin that the old M24 auto would run up to 7200RPM then shift, this other tranny goes to 6200-6500RPM then shifts.

Guess if a solenoid swap won't make any difference I'll try to finish pulling together manual swap pices over the summer
