MINI-ME head gasket?
Just to be 100%, if I slapped a 5th gen VTEC head onto a NON VTEC block (1.6L D series onto a 1.5L D series) I would use the VTEC head gasket right, not the NON VTEC one?

Well thats why im confused, because im looking at some head gaskets and they say "VTEC or NON VTEC" models. So im just confused as to which to go with... I mean, VTEC head, I assume a VTEC head gasket, but I just want to make sure!

uhhh.thats because some were made to be oem on vtec models..believe me..they interchange man..if its from 88-00..they interchange. if it says vtec that just means it came from vtec..just listen to what i said..96-00 d16y8

Thanks though, really... I figured all D series were, but who knows right? Im still not sure im gonna actually do it, I keep getting outbid on the heads and frankly I dont want to spend much more then I was bidding to get one - because I could just save that towards my B series swap. Which I will probably end up doing anyways, but just looking for some info... now that I learned something today I can relax and goto bed
