Might sound stupid....but somebody must know????
I know integra dc2 springs fit on civic hatchbakc eg's....my question is if for autocrossing, would it be worthwhile to buy integra springs instead of civic springs? I ask this because i dont think the civic springs account for civics with Bseries engines in them.
For instance a civic with a gsr engine is slightlier heavier than a civic with a stock d series engine, so which springs would be better to put on koni yellows, civic H&R races, or integra H&R races?

how do you figure? a b series engine does not weigh anything significant to make a diffrence in handling.

well i didnt mean it for anything about the engine weight difference. i just meant to say that i think they're better than civic springrates (just talking about the springrates).

springrates are related to car weight for most off the shelf springs. most people just want a drop. not a performing spring.
if he really wants to get a good setup he will go custom for autocross.

Re: (bboylito)
just get ones for your civic. you dont need anything custom or hardcore if you are daily driving.
driving skills > suspension
learn how to drive before you decide to get crazy with custom spring rates and such.

True and true.
But if you are buying springs off the shelf get the Integra rates. You may want to up the rate eventually but the learning curve is steeper the higher the rate. Generally if you buy some used springs by the time you want an upgrade you
shouldn't lose any resale value.
The weight difference in the b series is insignificant.
