Well my post was deleted in the process of a mod moving your thread to the correct location, so...

WTF do struts have to do with Integra springs on your Civic?

Lets back track a bit here. What year civic? What exactly have you changed, and what are you trying to return to stock?

Its a 2000 civic. and right now im riding on cut stock springs and my shocks are still fine. I just want some stock civic springs, but everyone around my area that is parting out civics only want to part out all 4 struts not springs. So there is someone on Craigslist in my area that ha 97 integra stock springs for 35 bucks where as all four civic stuts will be 80-100 bucks.. So my question is can 97 integra springs fit on a civic? An i havent changed anything

Stop using the term struts, you are confusing me. Your car has shocks.

What you're trying to say is that everybody wants to sell the shock and spring assembly as one piece, and they're not willing to separate. I think?

And I have no idea where you are located, so I can't help you with your question about craigs list.

I just did this bought some neuspeed springs from a a 93 integra for my daughters civic someone said the would work since everthing else bolts up the front worked great but the back was higher than stock had to cut 2 and a half coils and it probable needs a half more I think the back integra is heavier

I think it's safe to assume that the reason they don't want to separate the shocks and springs is because they don't want to deal with the hassle of getting a spring compressor to take everything apart.

Offer them your good shocks and top hats plus a little cash in exchange for their assembled units?

If you can't find OEM springs at a good price, just get a set of cheap, mild lowering springs somewhere.

I don't necessarily think it's that much heavier, the Integra just uses a taller spring. I could be wrong on that account, but regardless, I wouldn't recommend cutting any springs.

Yes, the integra springs will work on your civic, BUT your car will ride HIGHER than a stock civic would for a couple reasons.. the integra is heavier (more so in the front) and stock integra springs are stiffer than stock civic springs, and i think Tex is right too that the integra may use taller spring (i don't know for fact the rear of the integra is heavier than the civic, but all in all the integra is a little beefed up all around).
