my friends bro just put 2002 si rims on his car and we were comparing them to his stock wheels and the tire height for the SI rims are higher or seem to be...the tires seem to be bigger height wise or whatever...my friend was saying that this would mess up the odometer/speedometer...he said we might need to re calibrate the wheels...is this necessary and does this really affect the car alot..Please help...thanks

the 02 si tires are pretty tall, probably a bit taller than your stock tires. your speedometer will be off (it will read lower than actual, ~3-5mph depending on how much bigger the tires are). the only way you can get your speedo to read correctly is to get a tire thats the same diameter as you stock wheels
