ive heard it, its not raspy but its kinda loud, i dunno its weird you cant hear the engine really working its just a smooth sound... i dont really like it

you can tell the sound by the look of the muffler a lot of the times. Hint: If you can fit BOTH your hands into a muffler, its gonna sound like a whale with gas.
hate to reccomend the most expensive product, but if your gonna buy one expensive name brand part on your car, a Spoon silencer/muffler. Its a low rumble exhaust, not too terribly deep, but a wonderful rolling sound. Best way for a deep sound is a cold air intake, not a fart muffler.

i got my magnaflow catback off ebay for 287 shipped i havnt put it on yet but theres lots of good reviews people say it sounds deep, theres a thread on it by TwistedSI let me see if i can find it....

i have a complete megan racing cat-back system (2.5") and it's sounds awesome, very deep, it doesn't sound like a weed wacker or a go-kart like most. I give it

i got a megan muffler w/ silencer. i havent taken the silencer off yet, but i dont plan to, its a nice smooth deep sound, and jus quiet enuf so u can slip past the occasional cop
