hi guys

im trying to find some help for my persistent CEL code 3 (MAP sensor).

i already tried swapping out another sensor, and that didn't fix the problem.


now in need to get a voltage tester and pinpoint the problem ...

i notice the ECU has 2 MAP sensor wires, pins D17 and D21 on the ECU (OBD1)

Now, the actual map sensor in the engine bay, has 3 wires ... so im trying to get some ideas of what exactly each of these wires do ... i think 1 is for power, and the other 2 probably go back to the ECU (d17 and D21).

anyways, also i want to make sure i have the vacuum tube correctly hooked up, i didn't install the Skunk2 manifold, but the map sensor vacuum tube is connected to the top left port of the IM. Is that correct? i think it is, i have no reason to doubt the installer, but i can't find IM installation instructions anywhere from Skunk2.


so im basically gunna have to voltage test each wire to figure out whats going on ... so im trying to get some more info ... thx =]
