searched the FAQ and only came up with eg civics.

i have a 00 CX and have a line on a pair of doors from an EX. now i know i need both doors and the floor harness however because mine doesnt have power now i'm not sure what im looking for and where to unplug it from or how its routed. i also read somewhere that i need a power door lock actuator box of sorts. i would like the doors to lock and unlock with my alarm. if someone could give a very good description of the things i should ****** from the donor car and a good description of where they are located on said car i would appreciate it.

a link would be great too, as i'm sure this has been covered just not finding it.

im actually in the process of doing the conversion now. i also just made a thread today about it. the windows are pretty straight forward. the door locks i am having trouble with. on 96-98's the lock actuator box is located in the driverside door but the 99-00's are located behind the driverside kick panel. so your stock dash harness needs to be swapped out to have the available plug for the box. there is parts of the harness that are different than the stock hatch one and its not plug and play. maybe it works maybe it doesnt i have no clue, i just didnt want to put it back together and have some stuff not work.

do you know how to remove the plug thats inside the door that runs to the frame into the inside of the car so i can remove the full harness?

u talking about where the door harness meets the floor harness? if so the easiest way is to take off both fenders to remove the rubber cover on the plug to disconnect.
