Default Manifold swap question.

I have a 96 Civic EX with an Auto tranny and I am working on an auto-->manual swap, I have gone through the threads and I know that I need to change my intake manifold and throttle body out for the manual ones as well as re-wire the IACV.

Here's where my question comes in:

I have a JDM D15b in another Civic I am using for parts and I was wondering if the intake manifold and throttle body will work. I know that I will need to keep my OBD2 injectors, is there anything else? Thanks for the help.

I assume it should fit fine. considering the d15b is the japanese equivalent to the d16z6 and that one fits fine on all d-serious... i dont think the jdm version should be any different.

Cool. Thats what I needed to know. I figured it would work, just didn't know if the OBD stuff had anything to do with it. Thanks.

Itll work but you might want to consider drilling your auto manifold because you could be loosing power through out the band downgrading the manifold.

What would need to be drilled? The D15b one would be a downgrade? Explanation if you don't mind? Thanks for the help.

The runners and the plenium is a hell of alot bigger on the y8 then the D15B/ZC/Z6. I wish i took a picture of the z6 manifold so i could compare it but i dont have it anymore. Its kind of like the B16 manifold and the Type R. There shapped the same just the Type R is bigger everywhere.

And for the drilling youll need to find a 2 wire IAC and match it up, then drill and tap the extra hole for the 2nd screw and drill out the 2 holes for the IAC to read.

Awsome, I'd been wondering what the difference between an auto/manual manifold. Thanks for all the help.
