Intake Manifold questions
So i have a 2000ex auto and I'm doing a 5speed conversion.
are the intake manifold the same on auto/5speed?
do i have to swap out the intake manifold?
i wanna know so i dont buy the wrong one for my project

Cool story bro.
Anyway, the intake manifold is different: Automatics have a 3-wire Idle Air Control Valve, mounted on the throttle body, whereas manuals will have a 2-wire IACV mounted on the rear of the manifold. If you felt, you'd feel a flat area on the manifold where it wasn't machined out for an IACV, so you'll need to exchange your throttle body and intake manifold. You'll likely want one from a 1999-2000 due to some air injection crap.
I still don't know why D16Z6 was even brought up.
