Default major problems!!!! please someone help

ok here we go...... about a week ago my car wouldnt start. it turns over but doesnt start. so far i have checked and changed fuel pump, fuses, main relay, distributor cap, rotor, ignition control module, coil, plugs, plug wires. ive also checked my timing, starter and battery. so heres the thing...sometimes it starts and runs pretty good(usually if i dont start it for a while), sometimes it starts and runs like **** (really groggy) other times it doesnt start at all and my main relay just keeps clicking when i turn the key to start. sometimes i can here my fuel pump engage and sometimes it doesnt. i have only two options left before i take it to a mechanic: 1)change the ecu 2)i change the whole distributor unless someone might know what this is

the only thing i can tell you is before it wouldnt start i pulled my cluster out to change a bulb in it.

any ideas or comments. whatever you can do to help would be greatly aprreciated thanks alot

well i changed out my fuel filter and it starts everytime now but it still runs really shitty like its idling really low like 400 and when i press on the gas its slow for the rpm to get up there im thinking either ecu or injectors

Clean your O2 sensor(s) with carb cleaner. Reset the ecu. Have you pulled any codes? You may also have a bad cell in the battery. Causing it to only not start once in a while.

yeah, it is 2 screws and should be on or by your throttle body. they are expensive so I would first find a friend with a similar civic and borrow his to make sure that is what it is.

ok it was my o2 sensor. it had a little too much slack in the harness and it was rubbing up against my drive axle and getting hot and shorting out all that work for nothing
