Is your battery good? It doesn't sound like the main relay is bad...but I could easily be wrong.

Re: Main Relay Question... (BlueIntegraBoy)
Where is the clicking coming from? The starter or from the inside of the car near the glovebox?
If it's your starter then you should either charge the battery or pull the starter and have it checked.
If it's cominng from the inside of the car then it's your relay. A realy will click repidly if there is a bad ground - usually the one on the thermostat housing.
Have you been messin with the car?

It will also click rapidly if the batterys bad. Trust me, this happened to me and I thought it was the main relay, turned out to be a uncharged battery.

It's a battery issue. If your battery is new, it's probably a charging system issue - that means alternator to you nooblets.
Jump your car to get it running and then check the output from the alternator.
