magic brake pulse wtf????
hello, i lowered my car (95 cx hatch) yesterday with some skunk2 springs and while at it i cleaned and adjusted my rear brakes. it seems like they have never been inspected since they been installed (unknown millage) now i have a sudden brake pulse at any speed when braking. i have always thought that brake pulse came from warped rotors on the front. so why would i get a sudden brake pulse i never touched the front brakes in anyway.
thanks Tom

You can get the pulsing from the rear too. If you only messed with the rears, I would turn the drums, and that will make it go away, you might need to replace the shoes as well, if turning only doesn't fix it.

Re: magic brake pulse wtf????
it is possible for the drum shoes to have tiny cracks (brake cleaner reveals them) and that will cause a pulsation....i had that problem except mine locked up so i switched to rear disc.
