I don't know why you're concerned about the LCAs, because they have nothing to do with a rear disc conversion.

you would think so, but from what i have read and heard no because the trailing arm is slightly longer on the sedans than the coupes or hatchbacks.

Wrong. All trailing arms for '88-00 Civic, '88-91 CRX, '90-01 Integra, and '93-97 del Sol are effectively identical, regardless of trim, body style, or brakes ('90-93 Integras actually use a larger diameter TA bushing, but that is irrelevent).

Hence the reason trailing arms are not required for a rear disc conversion either. All you need are the hub assemblies, soft lines, e-brake cables, and calipers/pads/rotors. I also recommend the proper proportioning valve for your application.

I am assuming the two different LCAs are the ones that are pictured here?

If so, go ahead and grab the LCA from the donor car. If not, then the donor LCA is probably bent. However, if the receiving car is not using a rear sway bar, you can just use the LCA from the donor's opposite side, and flip it around backwards.

Keep in mind that while the trailing arms are the same (except for the DA bushing difference noted), compensator arms and LCAs are not.

I figure they were just designed that way to accomodate the sway bar mounting point, likely to position it on the edge where it is thicker. It is effectively the same arm though (all bushings are the same and in the same relative locations), so you can use it.
