Default Eg Hatch Interior panel question

This title is the best I could word it. I am taking my carpet out to clean underneath and remove the tar. Under the dash and radio there is the black panel with the change holder and ash tray. Once you remove that there is a silver metal bracket that bolts directly to the floor. I can not remove those bolts. I was wondering if there are nuts on the bottom under the car holding them in because they will not budge? Anyone care to try and help? Thanks in advance

i just removed the tar last week on my car. if your trying to remove the small piece of tar back there, leave it. i left mine, didn't feel like moving all the crap just for the small piece.

if the carpets trapped, get a razor and snip it, under the pannels and everything its not visable, so dont worry about it.

actually under there is already a slit in the carper, its held on by a plastic piece which you are supposed to cut off to seperate it. its in the helms, lemme try and find it and post a picutre
