Lugnut question...

I posed this in the wheel/tire forum but no one answered. Can i run 3 lugnuts on each wheel until I get my other 4 lugnuts? They only sent me 12 instead of 16. Would this be safe as long as all 3 of em are real nice and snug?

it'll be fine for a quick trip to your car parts store to buy a set.
get them asap just to be safe.
