ls/vtec into 98 ek
yeah i know is the wrong forum..but the guys in the hybrid forum are sleeping i guess
ok so i tried searching but i cant get anywhere...so i have a 95 ls (b18b) block mated to a jdm 1st gen b16 head (pr3)..oil line is runned, block has p72 (Gsr) pistons..so the ls/vtec is setup..now i want to drop it into my 98 dx hatch but i dont know if my wiring harness would work since my ek is obd2 and the swap is obd1..i want to know if there is a way that my stock d16y8 (7) not sure but is non-vtec engine harness can be wired to work with that swap..and wat ecu can i use..thanx

Re: ls/vtec into 98 ek (98turbohatch)
your going to need a obd-2 to obd-1 jumper harness for inside at the ecu. if your car is currently non-vtec, your going to have to run wires for the vtec solenoid inside to the ecu. you can get the jumpers pretty much anywhere online now
