Well with the sub harness all you will need to do is de pin at the ECU and re-pin using the sub harness. De-pinning is where you remove a wire at the ECU plug and re-pinning is where you put another wire back in that position. Since your car is an LS, I dont think you will need to de-pin anything at the plug, since you never had vtec, but you will need to add the wires from the sub harness into the plug, that way the ECU can tell your vtec when to engage. It's complicated, somewhat, but a very easy process. See what you have on the vtec is 1) ground, 2) Vtec Pressure switch, and 3) vtec solenoid,4)secondary butterfly IAB those are the four wires you need to wire up unless your running a gutted intake mani dont worry about the secondary butterfly. The ground, just needs to be connected to a good ground. The pressure switch needs be pinned into the plug that goes into your ECU, and the same goes for the solenoid wire. Your solenoid is that cylindrical thingy right in front of the distributor if you're looking at the motor. The pressure switch is just under it with two wires (ground, and signal). Now you may be asking where to pin these, well you need to look up the pins on your ECU. Just do a google search, and search by your ECU whether it be a p30, p28, p72, etc...these will tell you which are which. To search the ECU pins, just search up the ecu + pinout (ex P28 pinout).
