Default LS/VTEC help

Im new to the honda world and i wanted to do an ls/vtec swap into an ej1. Does anybody know how much this costs cuz im tryin to do a budget build but still have be good? also how much power will it make if i have it built with semi performance parts but nothing too crazy (ex. 10.5:1 cr, bc cams, maybe a little more head work and some minor bolt-ons). Lastly whats the best head to use for the ls block. Id appreciate it if somebody could help me thanks.

i have an LSVTEC in my ej8 right now. B18A1 block & P72 head to be exact. Its not cheap to do. LSVTEC's are one of those things that if you want it to be reliable, you're gonna have to spend money.
