LS motor into 99 EK. Need some help please!
First of all, I have been searching. Even google. But no luck yet.
My car is a 99 EX. D16y8. SOHC Vtec 5spd.
The motor is a 94 LS with tranny,ECU, Hardness, and axles.
Yes, I know I need the mounts from an SI, and Integra axels.
The questions are:
-What hardness does he Use? It's an older motor, but I've read that he could use my EX hardness.
-Will I still need an SI radiator?
The person that is doing it is a Honda Certified Tech, but I do not believe he knows about the wiring.

Yes, use the engine wiring harness from your car. There's a couple of mods to make.
- swap out the distributor plug for the B series plug
- extend the IAT wiring to keep in the stock location OR rewire and use the IAT on the LS manifold.
That should be it if you're running the car w/ an OBD1 ECU.
I am using my stock radiator in my car, same setup but a 2000 EX, absolutely no temperature problems. You will need B-series coolant hoses though. The D-series hoses will not fit over the water necks on the LS.
