question is what do we do, what wiring harness do we use, what ecu, please help us out on what we need to do to put this ls motor in his si, it doesnt have run perfect, he needs it to get back and forth to school and work for a little while untill his b16 is ready

The ecu would be a P75 if I'm not mistaken, everything else should work(axles, linkage) the mounts might be different, I've never heard of anyone wanting to do this swap into an Si. You should be able to use the same wiring harness as long as the engine is the also the same OBD class as the Si(OBD2-B I think?)

You will need obd2b ls ecu unless you convert to say obd1. You will use your original si harness and you may have to cut a couple harness clips from the ls motor and splice in the wires. Car might seem faster with the LS and motor and SI tranny due to powerband and gear ratio. good luck

The ECU is the P2T and yes, all 99-00 Civics are obd2b.

we figured out most of the problems

the car has a obd11 to obd1 harness and a jdm obd1 b16 ecu

we dropping the ls in in the morning

and the motor is only goin in for a little while until the b16 head is built then, were gonna pull the ls motor, prepare the ls block for the ls/vtec and drop the ls/vtec in with the b16 trans

i love my ls/vtec in my sol. you might want to upgrade the pistons and rods to accomidate the higher reving b16 head. i used gsr rods and pistons, and a gsr head. i also have the si tranny. you will def. notice a difference.

hmmm i don't think the p30 will start that. you might want to get an ecu out of an obd II ls, unless u got a conversion harness. if you do get a p75 that should start her up.
