learn to type in lower case letters you *******.
do what you want.. why don't you just get the LS for 1,000 and then do an LS/VTEC. Get a B16 vtec head.. walla.. You just saved about 1500 bucs.

ls+turbo=fun
or so you can understand...
LS+TURBO=FUN
just buy the b18 for a grand. if that is the complete changeover thats a pretty good deal. even if it's just the motor and tranny it's not bad.

What are you looking to get out of the car?
You dont' even need to boost it if you don't need to, for the cost of that gsr swap you could build an LS/VTEC. And if you look through the classifieds i'm sure you could build it for less. LS parts are cheap.
Of course if you're going turbo, you could always keep what you've got, the y8 is a fine start, slap in turbo pandas piston/rod setup for 520 I think is what he was selling it for. You'd have to notch the block as well. Boost it, that setup can handle 1.3 bar I believe with a blockguard and tuning. And boost 1 bar daily. Which is a lotta power with the right turbo.
Find an STD manifold, oil lines, blazzay blah. And still be below what it'd cost to get a gsr.
