i have a 96 civic dx,i bought it with 17"wheels and tires on it,the tire size is205-40-17.iwant to lower the car with a neuspeed sport lowering kit,my question is will i have any tire clearance problems?thanks

if they are adjustable coil overs..you shouldnt because if you lower too much you can always raise it. but if you have springs, and you are going for slammed i dont know but i think you should be ok as long as you buy a camber as well.

Are those the neuspeed springs that lower your car 2 or a little more inches? I don't believe you will have much of a clearance problem except you might experience some rubbing when driving and hitting a bump so I would go for something that it height adjustable.

you should be fine, the only time you might rub is when you are trying to turn up a driveway, and even that is doubt full

no you shouldnt have any clearance problems, why not go down to 15's?
