im looking to spray and i know i need a big fuel pump and colder plugs.however do i need to worry about a fuel pressure regulator..and input would be helpful thanks...if your looking to buy stuff ekchump is the best to buy from..most honnest person and thats hard to come by these days

colder plugs are good. make sure your ignition timing isnt advanced due to a chip or whatever. if you are planning on doing mild shot- like 35 or 50 wet, i dont think u need a new fuel pump, just make sure that you arent having any problems with your current pump. i would also check to make sure your fuel filter isnt overdue for change, or anything else that might inhibit fuel flow and cause you to run lean while spraying. i think the biggest piece of advice i can give right now is to do a compression test b4 you spray. this will be a good indicator of your motors health. if your #'s turn up low, then spraying is gonna make your motor wear down and perhaps break much faster than if you are running n/a. also i wouldnt go much above 50 or 55 on a stock block sohc. oh yea- you might need a clutch too- im not sure how long a stock clutch will hold on a 50 shot, especially if its got a lot of miles. look into act hdss clutch setup, or perhaps and exedy organic clutch kit

100 shot....colder plugs......have FUN.....have tried to blow up 2 dx engines with 100 shot....can't do it!!! even bouncing rev limiter!!

Yeah as some of the others said it all depends on how big of shot you want to use. As stated before if you plan on running a 50 or 55 shot you dont need to change much, running colder plugs is always a bonus though. If your motor is semi built you need to check some things out. For a 75 I believe ZEX recommends just retarding the timing 2 degrees, For 100 shot bigger fuel pump, retard timing, all that wonderful stuff. If and when you do run nitrous read your plugs they are your friends. If you want your motor to last longer 55 shot is the way to go, I have seen several ppl put 10+ bottles of nitrous though there DX motor with 75 shot but the outcome always was the same over time BOOM. I have been running a 55 shot ZEX wet kit on my d15b7 for a while with 150,000 on the motor and it seems to love it.

I sprayed 45 dry on my 2.0 probe. New plugs- 1 stage colder. 4 degrees timing retard. That's it.

You can spray up to 60 or so without needing a fuel pump.
