Looking for motor...please help
hey whats up, i got a 94 civic hatch....my car's got close to 200,000 miles on it.
This is my daily driver....so im looking for another motor to replace my D15B dx motor....i saved up for a jdm d15b that was on hmotors but its sold out now...i was wondering where i can get a good reliable motor for me to drive around everyday.....my budget is $1000. Any suggestions would be nice....thx

I would look at local engine import shops around your area. You may not get a d15b, but you can get a used JDM motor with low miles on it.

I live up in Washington state; I'm not familiar with California at all. However, it being California there is probably a motor shop in every city. I would get out a phone book and start looking at some shops.
A lot of people on Honda-Tech reside in California; I'm sure they can give you further information on this.

Re: Looking for motor...please help (JDM-SPECS)
Call up Steve at Hmotors and ask him if he has the D15B or the SOHC ZC, only difference between the 2 is the displacement (ZC is 1.6)
