Im going to look at a 93 Civic CX this weekend.It has 98' ITR swap.

What codes do I need to look for to make sure everything is legit?

Like making sure the tranny is a ITR tranny and head etc...

Ill being doing a compression test.What #`s should it come up with?

so its a usdm ITR swap right cuz u said b18c5. so get the vin number from the block and tranny and take them to the police and run them. if the vins are missing get the block serial numbers cast right under the 'b18c5' and run those with the police.

the ask for a recipt for the motor, and if you buy ask for a recipt that states he is selling the car with a swapped motor so you have a bill of sale for the motor and the car. possibly do two bills of sale, one for the car and one for the motor.

as for the compression i do not remeber, i have seen 185-220 psi i do not remeber which is the standard, but make sure its pretty even across all four cylinders

P73 isn't stamped on ANY Honda head.

PR3 will be stamped on the head.

my mistake...i just knew p72 was stamped on my gsr and i coulda swore i saw it on my friends itr engine...my bad, guess i learn somethin new everyday
