Default A little swap help

ok so basically i have a 96 ek hatch. i went to the junk yard last weekend with my friend (we were in the middle of nowhere in va) and i saw a wrecked s2k there. being the curious person that i am i decided to look under the hood. and yes just as you all imagined the engine was still in it. and there didnt seem to be anything wrong with it. the guy who owns the junkyard (obviously knows nothing about cars) told me that if i got a crane and pulled the swap out myself hed sell it to me for 1850. and he also said i could do whatever i wanted to to check it out before i bought it.

so telling you all that. my question is can an f20c fit into a 96 ek hatch?

Yeah and supposedly a K20 tranny bolts up to the F20. That's just what I've heard...

hmmm..so your asking to put a rear wheel drive motor in a front?...its possible...if you got the gouda..gouda as in cheese...and cheese as in money.! and probably alot of custom fabrications to your chassis..

yea its possible with alot of money. I think it would be really hard to put a rear wheel drive engine in a front wheel drive car.

Are you can get the s2k motor, then get a AE86.

Now you have a AE86 with a s2k motor.

not as hard as you think , people put crv drivetrain swaps in delsols . it all wheel but you get the point and i agree with dbl , its ganna be alot of money and alot of fab work . just buy the full swap from him re sell it to someone in ur area and with the money you make puttogether a swap with less dab work

do it do it

and how r u gonna clown n the junk Yard man that he know nothing about cars when u come with this 16 years old question. wtf

haha yea i may only be 16 but ive been around cars my whole life. i new that it was possible. putting any engine in any car is possible. i just wanted to know if it was possible on the grounds of have people actually done it and is it even worth it. im sick of all my friends and their b18's or b16's or h22's. by the way i have an h22 in my car at the moment. i did that swap myself. with little help from my friends and no professional help and everything has been in working order now for months. but back to the f20c. i dont know of anyone who would actually buy it or even have a use for it for that matter. the drive train would be a jump to make my hatch rear wheel drive but i personally think its worth it.
