My car is making a slight knocking noise when i apply gas, and sometimes it will sparatically stall, even in neutal it will stall, as long as im applying cosistent gas it wont stall but if i dont it will stall right away. Not throwing any codes, the other odd thing is that when it does stall i havent had a problem with starting it back up. Checked the spark plug wires looked fine, replace the spark plugs, no changes. More than likely its a misfire situation of some sort, so im missing fuel or spark right? Let me know if any of you have encountered a similar situation. Im gonna go have it checked out in a couple hours. Any advice? Thanks Again.

Knocking? Like a rod knock? If so check in your oil pan, if there's metal debris you've got a problem.

I sure hope its not rod knocking, it could be but i dont think so...i think the knocking may be coming from another part of the car, and coincedently it happened at the same time of this other problem

My friend's NX2000 had a rod knock just last week. If I remember correctly it knocked when accelerated, then stopped in 3rd. Might be the other way around, i'd have to ask him. Turns out the crank was fine, he only needs new bearings.
