which linkage or shifter do I use for a b18 swap?
I've got the main list down of stuff I need but I cant seem to find anywhere that mentions whether or not I have to also grab the shifter/linkage from the integra when I pull the swap out?
my car is an auto 93 dx hatch
and the swap donor is a 91 LS 5speed
I've got got a 94 lx sedan 5speed if I need to grab anything from it.
I prefer to just swap straight to the manual LS setup from my auto dseries and just use the cable clutch setup.
I think I need to use the LS linkage with the civic shifter but cant confirm this anywhere....anyone know for certain??

no it won't. they don't bolt onto the tranny the same
edit: yes the shifter, not the linkage though

you can use a b16/b18b/b18c/b18b5 linkage but i dont know about the Delsol b16a3 linkage but w/ any civic shifter (but you need washers in between the shifter and the linkage so it wont be soo sloopy) or any b-series shifter..

it wont work, it will be a 2-3 inches shorter OR longer...cant remember. then it should be so the shifter will sit funny. I helped a friend do a b18a swap into his 4-dr and he tried the same thing.
he had his dad cut the shift linkage and extend/shorten it more

it's not wrong info, you can use the actual shifter it's self.

as for the del sol linkage, that cannot be used.
