Lighting goes dim?
Lately when I drive my car at night, the headlights and the lights in my guage cluster go dimmer when my car is at idle but when I rev my engine they brighten up. What is causing this?

yep. your alternator is on its last legs. pretty soon you'll be running off the battery - that will last for about 30 minutes and you'll be stuck. happened to me in the middle of a busy 3 lane road in rush hour traffic a few years ago - that was a bad scene.

Re: (Pikachu)
I went to the honda dealership because i got my alternator from them 8 months ago and they say its just because of the cold temperature and running the heat and everything. Is this true or are they just blowing smoke up my a$$
