Lifting muffler up to fit bottom of car?
Ok idk if theres anything wrong here on my muffler but when i look under my car it looks like my muffler can be positioned to where it fits under my car but thats not how it is theres a BIG space between the bottom of my car and the muffler itself. what i wanna know is, is there any way you can adjust the muffler to fit flush with the car? if needed ill post or send pics on how it looks.
so if anyone can help, please do.
thanks in advanced.

Has it always been like that or did you just come outside and see it that way? To me, it almost looks like you're missing an exhaust hanger or something.

Re: Lifting muffler up to fit bottom of car?
its always been like that and when i look at other people's mufflers theirs seem flush and fitting the bottom of their car and i think all my hangers are there...?
but if you look at the first pic, would i be able to turn it to make it fit to the bottom?
because i would really hate to be driving and bottom out (the roads here suck) and dent or put a hole in it.

same thing happened to mine. are you sure is that the right year or model for your car? i end up cutting the hangers short and weld it back.

What car is this on? A friend of mine has a '92 prelude and he had a pretty similar problem. When he bought the car, the straight part from the cat, back to the muffler, was on upside down from the previous owner. We flipped it over and it fixed it. I'm not sure if that's what's going on in your situation though..

but i think just might be the problem here but idk cuz the kid that sold it to me was dumb and did a lot of things half-***, it sounds like something he probably would have done.
