Leaking Between Door Windows and Stripping
Hey I have a problem with the "weather stripping" on the outside of the windows that keeps the water out of the door itself. I figured i would just be able to replace it, but it appears that when I move the stripping, I move the entire door. Am I SOL here on replacing that weather stripping?
I will post up picture soon, to further explain what I am talking about. But i will try again... its the rubber (mine happens to be extremely hard and leaky) that pushes up against the base of the window to ensure water cannot get into the door. Mine got brittle and broke a large chunk off, so its pretty much open to elements inside the door.

so does that piece just sort of pry off the top of the door (this is what i hope) or is it a door disassembly job, including removing the window itself, etc.
would it be a dealer only part too?

Re: Leaking Between Door Windows and Stripping
they're expensive as hell. most hondas leak there, most owners don't know it, but if you've ever seen water on your little black plastic thing when you open the door up, then its leaks..
anyway, those parts aren't cheap. even tho they look inexpensive i think they $60 for just 1 door.. shouldn't have to take the window out, just pop/slide them off as far as i know.. may need to take your mirror off tho
