Default last night my car died. i don't know why

ok, i went out with a friend last night and i was trying to teach him how to drive stick. i hadnt driven my car in 3 weeks because i was on a trip, but earlier that day i was driving around doing some errands.

anyhow, so that night after driving to go see a movie and driving to a parking lot, my friend starts practicing and on this one small incline, he kills the car. but instead of just dying out, everything goes out. ALL electrical, everything. ok, so we push the car around and kick start it going down the hill. i drive it around for a little while and everything is fine. I went home and let it run for a while and i shut it off. then i tried starting it again to make sure it was ok. it was fine.

so my question is, what is wrong? has anyone else had this problem before? thanks.

since you were on vacation i would get the battery tested, or the alternator looked at. Remember when you alternate current you only will give back what you put in.

Since all the accessories went out, my guess is that the car isn't getting power from the battery. Check the terminals then check the battery itself. ie: take the battery to autozone and have them test it.

this might be a stupid question, but how do you kick start the car ? DO you have the key in the on position and while rolling in first, release the clutch?

to kick start you get the car moving whether it be down a hill or being pushed and then start the car up...
as for your problem im going with the battery or maybe even the starter, however i am guessing that it is your battery since the car did start up again, get a new battery if that doesnt work check out your alternator and your starter...

it's either the battery, or a bad battery connection....

i have $5 on it that you have a corroded/loose ground that just needed a little "kick" to stop power flow
