Default Larger thermostat housing for D-series engine??

Anybody know if there are larger thermostat housings that will fit properly on a D-series engine? I am looking for a thermostat housing that has a output tube measuring about 32mm.

Alright, thanks!!!

Edit never mind saw the other post for the clear hoses. I remember seeing clear hoses on a old Datsun rotary. Maybe that lead will help you.

It's part of my solution to my hose fitment issues. I have a radiator that has tubes that are slightly too big, I'm getting hoses that will fit it, and I want the thermostat to be the same size if possible.

Otherwise, I'll just clamp the hell out of the hose on the thermostat. But I'd rather not have to worry about leaks and whatnot.

Check my other thread, pics at the bottom...

Still looking for an answer. This would be a useful mod for those of you upgrading your cooling system.

If anybody has a D and a B engine laying around, let me know if the housings are the same.

Thanks!

I know the thermostats are the same as well as the fan switches.

I put a del sol dual core radiator in my 92 hatch and noticed the bigger inlet/outlet. I was able to stretch my stock hoses over them but it was a bitch. Im gonna try to use bigger hose with a piece of my old hose on the engine and see if it will slip over the old hose so it will fit tight on the thermostat housing and return. Im not sure if its gonna work but might be worth a try.

PS I think they may sell adapters for this at auto parts stores.
