lack of power
ok guys, another problem. i just replaced almost all the grounds on my car, only one I didn't is the one to the tranny and I'm going to do that one. here is the problem though, i did that about 3 days ago, and suddenly when i get some power going to the car, like i'm doin 35 in second gear, it feels all jerky and powerless. like the grounds are all bad and it's not getting the right power. but i just replaced 4 of 5 grounds on it and it was going great. also, anytime my grounds are bad, if i turn something on that takes power, like the lights or air, it gets worse, this time it didn't so i don't think it's the grounds. you can't feel the problem if you drive like a grandma and don't push the pedal. please help, what could cause this?

Re: lack of power (austinkli)
so your car feels sluggish when you put more load on the electrical system?
if this happened right after you replaced the grounds put the old ones back on first to see if that is whats causing it, if it still happens check the battery and alternator to make sure theyre working properly

Re: lack of power (H22Ej1)
not necessarily when i put more load on the elcetrical system. like i said, i turned on the lights, radio, and air and it didn't make it any worse. only when i give it extra power. Alternator is a good idea though, i'll check that. also those old grounds are so bad that i literally can't drive with them.
