Re: ground control coilovers (chirp2hrd)
Im not sure on the price aspect...but if you want to run GC coilovers, with eiboch(sp) springs....or what ever you better get a set of shocks with in 6 months, or you will not have shocks. The ride will only be as bumpy as your springs make them. If you have hard springs...then yes it will be a rough ride. The most that you can lower your ride before you need a camber kit is 2" anything after that and you can kiss your tires good by. As for the money aspect.....keep saving...then you can spend around 800 dollars or so on a very nice coilover and shock setup.
I know that some guys migh post saying that they have them on stock shocks, and its running fine, well i doubt that it will be that way for long. The most common setup for coilovers is GC's or Skunk 2's with Koni Yellow adjustable shocks.
hope this helps

Re: ground control coilovers (chirp2hrd)
I have a 92 hatch with gc coilovers and kyb 4 ways. The ride is kinda stiff, but the handling makes up for it, not to mention the looks. They go 0-3 inches, i go almost all the way down, but maine is bumpy, so i usually keep at about 2 or 2.25. I recommend them., bought them from ground control for $299. Go direct, No worries.

I have a set of ground controls on my 92 hatch and the ride is really bumpy but the car handles really well. The best place to get gc's is to call ground control direct the guys over there are ok.
