i searched and i haven't really found any good answers on this. I'm installing them today in my 98 coupe. Should i keep the dust covers on the shocks and also what exactly do i need from the stock shocks to transfer over to the new ones? What is that nut that comes with the kyb agx shocks? Does that go on top of the strut? thanx guys.

Yes keep the dust cover. That nut goes on top of the damper or "strut" to replace the old one.

**** now i'm having trouble lining up the fork and the strut in the front of my car so they go into the strut towers correctly. The little groove just isn't lining up

try bolting the strut andspring assembly up into the car first then line the fork up with the grove in the strut
