Koni's ? How good are they ?
Specifically yellows. I need some suspension for my project Em1 and was about to go pick up some Ksports and Ksport Control arms for 600 and some change. I made a small package and found the best deals around and came up with 840 for some Koni's with Ground Control Coilovers and custom springrates. Sure I won't get the bling bling lower control arms but I don't think they make a difference at all .
I just want to know how long will the being lowered and going to the rough streets of Los Angeles (80 mile commute daily) no weekend driving though. Whats everyone thoughts on Koni yellows ?

koni yellow's are imo some of the best shocks out on the market right now. and will be the last set you'll buy because they are backed with a lifetime warrenty.

you'll get a better response in the suspension forum. but koni yellows are well known for their good quality. Ive got the koni/gc combo and love it. it is what most people would recommend on HT.

the warranty is really only good for certain situations. Nothing is free, remember that haha. As for performance, they are 1 of the best on the market.

Koni's are the real deal for the track, but kind of overkill for a weekend warrior.
Illuminas/spring of your choice, Sway bars and good tires are likely to handle better than 9/10 driver's capabilities.
Koni is for ballers. Few people can use them and a good sway bar setup to their full potential.

So do illuminas, kyb agx's, and any full coilover setup over $1000.
