Knock on the driver side in the Engine Bay area.
Ok so first thing is first, the motor and tranny are perfectly fine, they run great, good compression, smooth shifts. IT IS NOT AN ENGINE PROBLEM.
Ok that being said, I had thought my motor mount was causing the knocking however I found that it was not, the knock occurs when I am driving and only when I am driving, if I accellerate, the knock goes away until I let in the clutch.
When breaking the knocking also goes away, it is fairly rhythmic in how it knocks, and I think it has to do with something that attaches the wheel to the car... best bet anyway. Does anyone know what could be the problem?
