Default keyless entry fcc id question

i have a 97 ex, the person i bought the car off of had an automatic car started installed, so my car is bypassed.

anyway, that probably doensn't matter. I just found out that i can use keyless entry as long as i have my radio plugged in.

they sell remotes for 20 bux on ebay, but the fcc is a bunch of numbers then 106 at the end

does my radio need to have this on it? or can i program these remotes to my radio with no problem?
