How many miles do the motors have? Who built the B20/Vtec? Are you trading transmissions as well?

What are your long term plans? Are you keeping the car as a dialy driver?

If the car will eventually be a trailer queen I would go for the b20vtec

If the car wil remain an everyday driver, I would keep the b18c1..

The fact that there are no oil squirters at the bottom of the b20 would make me think twice about depending on it daily for a long time. The LS/VTEC crowd doesn't seems to care about this small detail but I am sure Honda had pretty good reason to put those in the VTEC blocks.

I would too cause that way you could also pass smog. No way in hell could you pass with a B20. Just some food for thought.
