just wired vtec. still not engaging??
using a d16z6 with corresponding wiring harness.
VTEC spool solenoid:
ran wire from the GRN/YLW wire on the shock tower connector to pin A4
Oil pressure sensor:
ran wire from BLU/BLK wire to pin D6

i'm still getting a code 19? am i missing something? do i have to ground the spool solenoid? i'm starting to lose my brain over this

Hey this is unbelievableEG i cant post anymore today with that account
you didn't plug the canon plug back in, once you do that drive around make sure your not getting any CEL codes and then rip it

did you put a ground wire also? i had to ground one of the wires from the vtec selenoid to get mine vtec to work on my gsr motor.

actually the female connector on the plug just needed pushed in a little farther. seems to all be working now and no more code 21

yeah you definately cant hear the changeover on a z6 lol. it feels alot better top end, though . alot quicker than my friends LS coupe
