well, the curb weight on my car is 2295 lbs. and i weigh 145 lbs. so subtract 145 from 2440 and it comes out to about 2295 lbs. sucky thing about del sols are that when it comes to weight reduction you don't have as many options as a civic.

i got my car weighed at the weigh stations for semi-trucks off of the freeway. if you go i recommend going at night to avoid the ppl there yelling at you. even going at night i was kinda scared cuz they had a sign at the beginning of the freeway off ramp saying "trucks only".

blackeg2's del sol VTEC weighs 2440 without him full interior/trunk and then some extras , not sure how much gas

its alright man..my sol weighs about the same as yours or a little more since im about 190 and about 6'1..(2450-2500 est) and mines a S as well..nothing we can really do about it but just complain..unless you really want to get into weight reduction and start cutting things here and there..but i dont think you would want to..looks like a daily driven car..well if you find some ways to get this pig on a diet w/out cutting or major work , let us know!

off the freeway right before wild waves in federal way. it's before the 142A exit. i used the weigh station on the south bound side of I-5. i didn't use the one on the northbound side, because i think it's different and i've never been there.

i dunno, but my friend went while there were ppl there workin and they bitched at him. i'm sure they wouldn't be happy if you went during the day and there were a bunch of semi trucks lined up waiting to be weighed.

you can also get your car weighed at the dump too. i didn't go there because last time when i went there to dump some garbage the people there aren't too nice. atleast at the weigh stations there's no one distracting and you just drive over the scale and it the weight pops up. then you just drive off.
